Cheer Haran, an eye-opener on the Haryana riots opens to rave reviews

by Team MMetro

The unseen side of the Jat Reservation Andolan and the subsequent Haryana riots came to the fore with the release of Panorama Spotlight and Twister Entertainment’s documentary Cheer Haran. One of the first impactful documentaries to have released in recent times, Cheer Haran garners a phenomenal response from the critics and the audiences alike. The audience was seen applauding and clapping in the theatres and the documentary has witnessed house full shows in Delhi, Hisar, Rohtak, Faridabad, Gurgaon, and many other cities.

Most importantly, Cheer Haran has been reviewed as an eye-opener and director Kuldeep Ruhil’s vision has been lauded for bringing out the reality of the Haryana riots in 2016. The Kuldeep Ruhil directorial is a daring expose that attempts to touch upon the truth behind the violence that erupted in Northern India. It also addresses the misinformation associated with the agitation.

Abhishek Pathak, Director, and Producer at Panorama Studios says, “It is overwhelming to have such love and support from critics and viewers for Cheer Haran, considering how challenging it is to make an impact during such times. If we’ve been able to create intrigue around the truth of the Haryana riots, the purpose of our film is fulfilled. ”

Kuldeep Ruhil says, “I am glad and honoured that Cheer Haran has made its impact with its theatrical release. Our efforts towards remembering the lessons of human conflicts have been received positively and that’s an amazing feat for any filmmaker. I wish us all compassion and peace.”

Presented by Panorama Spotlight and produced by Twister Entertainment, CheerHaran is running successfully in cinemas in North India since its release on 29th January 2021. It is a Panorama Studios Distribution release.
