Navneet Malik says it is not easy for someone who is not connected to the industry to find their place in Bollywood. The actor is glad that he got the right kind of support from his directors and has acknowledged that it pushes him to deliver every single time.
“It is not easy to be an outsider and find your way in Bollywood. I feel that as an actor, I have been truly blessed that all my directors believed in me and trusted me with their films,” says Navneet Malik.
“I find their love and belief and it pushes me to deliver every single time I face the camera. Secondly, it is the right kind of scripts that you choose, I’ve always believed that content is the real king. There is a certain self-belief, an affirmation that my choices are working,” added the actor.
He further adds, “Success requires hard work and dedication to your goal, no matter which industry you’re in or where you stand within it. You do your best with the opportunities that you have and you will create many more unimaginable ones. Your focus will determine how far you go and I’m grateful for my journey. Not being from the industry has not discouraged me from working towards my goals and I believe that is paying off.”
After his stint in Sajid Nadiadwala and Ahmed Khan’s Heropanti 2 (2022) opposite Indian actress Tara Sutaria. He made his Bollywood debut with Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment production, Love Hostel (2022).
On the work front, he will be seen with Sanjay Dutt on big screen soon with his upcoming project a sci-fi horror comedy, ‘The Virgin Tree’.
