Singer Vaishali Made, who rose to fame with her captivating vocals in hits like “Pinga” and “Fitoori” from the blockbuster movie Bajirao Mastani, and “Ghar More Pardesiya” from Kalank, is ready with her next music video titled Joy Bheem. The video is dedicated to Bharat Ratna Dr. B. R. Ambedkar. Sharing details about the song, she says, “This is perhaps the first of its kind in India where we’re experimenting by creating a Lavani, dedicated to Bharat Ratna Dr. B. R. Ambedkar. Many well-known inspirational and devotional songs have been dedicated to him so far, however, this will be the first time that the folk music style of Maharashtra, specifically Lavani, will be used. A close friend of mine Vishal Jadhav composed this piece for me and also wrote the lyrics. The whole experience of this song is incredible.”
She also adds, “My good friend Megha Ghadke has danced in this Lavani. We have a large team, and they’ve done a fantastic job with this project. We shot this video in Madh Island.” She also adds, As I have mentioned, Lavani will be used to pay homage and tribute to Baba Saheb Ambedkar, which makes us immensely proud. It’s an important experiment for us and we’re very happy about it. This journey is special to me because I always feel a strong connection with Baba Saheb Ambedkar and often create songs dedicated to him. This song is particularly unique and meaningful.”
The music video is releasing on 5th April.
