Sheezan Khan started his career in 2013 as the young Akbar in Jodha Akbar on Zee TV, and he has since then appeared in shows like Silsila Pyaar Ka, Chandra Nandini, Ek Thi Rani Ek Tha Raavan, Tara From Satara, and Ali Baba: Daastaan-E-Kabul, to name a few. He says that though he faced many challenges in her career, he remained optimistic and determined.
Talking about his struggle, he said, “I faced my fair share of struggles and hardships when starting out in the industry. It’s a highly competitive field, and breaking through requires resilience, perseverance, and a lot of hard work. I realized early on that my career choices would significantly impact my life, dictating my schedule, relationships, and overall lifestyle.”
“While there were doubts and opposition along the way, I remained steadfast in pursuing my passion, knowing that staying true to myself would ultimately lead to fulfillment,” he added.
He feels staying focused should be the mantra for anyone starting in the industry. Sharing his advice for newcomers, he said, “To newcomers facing struggles in the industry, my advice would be to stay focused on your craft and never lose sight of your passion. Rejection and setbacks are inevitable, but they’re also opportunities for growth and learning.”
“Surround yourself with a supportive network of mentors, peers, and loved ones who believe in your talent and journey. Stay persistent, adaptable, and open to new opportunities. Most importantly, never compromise your authenticity or integrity for fame or success. It’s a journey, and every experience, whether good or bad, contributes to your growth as an artist,” Sheezan concluded.
