The Monday episode of Rajan Shahi’s “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai” began with Kairav telling the families that he is in love with Anisha and they were in a relationship but not anymore. She is now his ex-girlfriend as he has broken up with her. Anisha is left in tears and tells Kairav that he can’t break up with her to which Kairav tells her that this is for the best. Abhimanyu gets angry and holds Kairav by his collar and tells him that when it comes to love he shouldn’t run away from problems, instead he should face them. Manish stops Abhimanyu and asks him to not provoke Kairav. Abhimanyu asks him why he blames him for anything that happens. He even observes Manish pressing his arm often. Aanand then gets angry and tells the Goenkas that they shouldn’t have interfered in their family affair like this, and asks them to leave. Kairav then tells them that Anisha is not at fault in this matter. Abhimanyu then tells him that his concern for Anisha is of no use if he is breaking up with her. He tells the families that even Akshara behaved the same way when it came to their relationship and asks why can’t they stand up for people they love. Akshara stops Abhimanyu leaving him stunned.
Once the Goenkas leave, Aanand blasts at Anisha and tells the family that he has lost all his respect because of her. Anisha then tells them that she had no option but to leave. She tells them that she felt suffocated in the house because for the Birlas being a doctor meant everything and nothing else mattered. Abhimanyu tries to calm her down but she faints. They take her to a room and Abhimanyu tells them that she is very stressed. Harshvardhan blames the Goenkas for whatever happened at their home. Manjari then tells Abhimanyu that Abhi and his Akshu too became a part of this drama. She tells him to mend things with Akshara.
Meanwhile, at the Goenka’s house, Manish stops Kairav to talk to him but he doesn’t. He is heard saying that he needs some time alone. Even Akshara tries to stop him, but he tells her that she should behave like her age. Later Kairav goes to talk to Akshara and apologizes for his behaviour. He asks her to give him some time. Akshara then remembers what happened between her and Abhimanyu and picks up her phone to message him. But she feels his presence and finds him at her window. Abhimanyu tells her that he observed Manish holding and pressing his arm and has brought some medicines for him. He also asks her to get some tests done. Akshara then stops Abhimanyu from leaving.
In the upcoming episodes, we will see that Aarohi finds Akshara and Abhimanyu hugging. She asks Akshara what is Abhimanyu doing at their house, to which Akshara tells her that because of the tension that happened at the Birla house even they were upset with each other and Abhimanyu came to fix things between them. Aarohi tells them that even Bade papa is upset with what happened and she should call him too. Abhimanyu asks her to call him and Aarohi yells “Bade papa” leaving Akshara and Abhimanyu shocked.
