Actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra Attends Dhuri Eye Camp, embraces her Punjabi connection and praise CM Mann for the phenomenal work

Shilpa Shetty Kundra attended an Eye Camp in Dhuri, Punjab, on Wednesday.
The mega eye camp organized by NRI Surinder Singh Nijjar took place in the Sangrur district, where Shilpa also interacted with locals. An emotional moment for the Sukhee actress was when a Young girl got a house in a lucky draw; on meeting the girl, Shilpa teared up.

At the eye camp, 6,000 people were examined. While Shilpa made a strong impression by speaking in Punjabi and expressing her gratitude, she won many hearts when she referred to herself as the “daughter-in-law of Punjab”.
Shilpa said, “Eh kam jo tussi kar rahe ho, heal kar rahe ho. I can join this work. (This is a good job you’re doing. I can join you in this work.)”

Shilpa also added that being in Punjab felt at home stating that its her ‘sasuraal’, she also praised Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann for his leadership and efforts to advance the state. Shilpa’s stance of being a true blue Punjabi girl left many attendees impressed.
