Anupamaa and Anuj’s friendship has now become a sore sight not just for Baa, Vanraj and Toshu but for the other women living in the colony too. They taunted Anupamaa for dancing with another man and Baa took it on herself and asked Anuj to leave. For the first time, Anupamaa took a stand for Anuj and asked him to stay. She said he is his friend and he will come to meet her.
Anupamaa questions them why they didn’t have any objection when Kavya used to come to meet Vanraj. The ladies there called her a bad daughter-in-law, but Anupamaa instead said that they are bad mother-in-laws because they never get tired of bad-mouthing their daughter-in-laws.
Anupamaa then invites everyone to join them for Ravan-dahan and then asks Anuj to light the Ravan of bad thoughts and conservative mindset. Anuj comes back home excited as this was the first time Anupamaa took a stand for him.
In the upcoming episode we will see Anuj and Anupamaa sitting outside a temple when Anupamaa asks him why he didn’t get married all these years.
