The Saturday episode of Rajan and Deepa Shahi’s “Anupamaa” began with Anupamaa telling Vanraj that today he has everything but he is still unhappy because he doesn’t enjoy what he has but he finds happiness in seeing people lose. She tells him that he is worried how Anuj is still happy after losing everything. He is worried how he is still happy with Anupamaa and calls him by his name. Vanraj is shocked to hear Anupamaa call him by his name and tells him that his name is not that bad. She then tells him that he is wondering how come she took his name and tells him that he should be thankful that she has not yet stooped to his level. Vanraj asks her why she has come there to which she tells him that she is there to remind him that he can do whatever he wants to but he will not win. She asks him if he is scared and tells him that he should be because when one is wrong then they should be scared. She tells him that he will have to live with his fear forever. She tells him that Anuj took a step back because of Malvika, and she took a step back because of Malvika and Anuj, but that doesn’t mean they have stayed behind. She tells him that “just wait and watch” to which Vanraj asks her how dare she, Anupamaa tells him that she hasn’t dared anything yet. Vanraj then calls the security and asks them to throw Anupamaa out. They tell him that he can fire them from the job but they won’t touch Anuj’s Anupamaa. Anupamaa tells him that’s what Anuj has earned over the years which he won’t be able to get ever.
Anuj is waiting for Anupamaa and asks her why did she come there, she tells him that he would have done the same thing. Anuj and Anupamaa leave from there and Malvika sees them and is heard saying that she can’t divide herself between all this any more. Anuj tells Anupamaa that there are only two way to do business and love that is with honesty or dishonesty, and someone who has cheated in love cannot do business with honesty. Anupamaa tells him that but Vanraj made a mistake as Malvika has been affected by whatever happened. Anupamaa then tells Anuj that she has always prayed for everyone’s well-being but now she prays to teach Vanraj some lessons. Anuj then tells Anupamaa that she should also think about what he told her and starts humming “Mujhse shaadi karogi”.
Meanwhile, at the Shah abode, the family is packing gifts for Anupamaa. Baa asks Bapuji why they are doing so much for Anupamaa’s birthday to which he tells her that this will be the first year they will be celebrating Anupamaa’s birthday. Kavya asks her to not worry about the money as Vanraj will soon become rich. Bapuji tells the family that this birthday should be unforgettable for Anupamaa.
At the same time, Anuj takes out a ring from his cupboard that he had kept for Anupamaa. He then imagines seeing him and Anupamaa getting married. He then packs the ring and is happy that soon it will be Anupamaa’s birthday. Just then Malvika comes home and stops him from taking her to Anupamaa. She tells him that she is ashamed of herself because Anupamaa took a stand for him in the office and even she should have done that. Anuj then tells her that he gave her the business and she needs to run it how she wants to but she shouldn’t give the power to anyone else.
At the same time, Anupamaa looks at the clock and is wondering what she should say to Anuj.
In the upcoming episodes, we will see that Anupamaa says that with her birthday a new life begins for her. The Shahs then gather to celebrate her birthday while Vanraj is heard saying that their smiling faces is his biggest defeat and he can’t lose. Anuj is then shocked to see something on his phone.
