Atharva, who essays Young Babasaheb’s character in &TV’s Ek Mahanayak- Dr B.R. Ambedkar, has not only managed to impress the audience with his impeccable acting prowess but has become an audience’s favourite in a short time. As the actor turned a year older on January 17th, he celebrated his birthday this year with his real and reel family. Atharva shares, “This year’s birthday was extra special. I recently was awarded the prestigious ‘Buddha International Peace Award 2023’ from Shri Ramdas Aathavale Saheb, Shri Kabir Bedi Ji, Shri Udit Narayan Sir, Shri Nirmal Ji, and Shri Bhante Ji. It was one of the most memorable moments. So, I decided to revel in these dual celebrations of my birthday and winning the award with my real and reel family. I spent a considerable time on the sets for shoots. The entire production team and crew have become a close-knit family. We all laugh, play and celebrate every small moment together. Celebrations are incomplete without them. The team arranged for my favourite cake and snacks, which truly made my day. As for my family, like every year, my parents travelled down from Pune to be with me. I enjoy eating homemade delicacies like Puran Poli and Ladoos made by my mother, who also made those for me this year. We had a quiet dinner and called it a day.”
The actor added, “I also would like to thank all my viewers and fans for their unwavering support of the show and my character of Young Bhimrao. Their messages, posts and comments on my birthday were overwhelming and heartwarming. I am grateful to each of them for taking the time to wish me. It truly meant a lot to me. Such love and affection inspire and motivate us as actors to keep doing our best. So thank you once again for all the love and support.”
