BB OTT3 contestant Poulomi Das on Resilience: Overcoming a Breakup and Brain Hemorrhage

In a heartfelt conversation on Bigg Boss OTT 3, actress Poulomi Das shared her emotional journey through a traumatic breakup and a severe health crisis. Poulomi recalled her breakup with her Italian boyfriend after five years, which led to significant stress and weight gain. Her story took a darker turn as she recounted her brain hemorrhage in 2022, which left her with severe headaches, hallucinations, and a loss of memory.

“I got engaged with someone in 2022. I had a brain hemorrhage after that, so I don’t remember anything that happened just before the hemorrhage. After returning from Italy, I came back to Bombay on October 11, 2022. Shortly after that, I began experiencing severe headaches. Initially, I thought it was due to exhaustion from traveling, but my condition worsened. My brother flew down to Bombay, and we saw a doctor who recommended an MRI. It revealed I had a hemorrhage, and I was hospitalized in Bombay for 25 days. I lost memory of about three months during this period,” Poulomi revealed.

She further added, “The breakup was incredibly difficult for me. I struggled with stress and ended up gaining weight due to stress eating. It took me about 5-6 months to recover from it. Throughout this time, my friends and family were a constant support, and my neighbor, Tanuja Aunty, was always there to guide me. Looking back, I realize I made mistakes, but I’ve grown and learned from the experience.”

This revelation moved her housemates, as she detailed the impact on her memory and life, adding emotional pain to her physical recovery. Despite these setbacks, Poulomi’s resilience and determination to continue her career are commendable. Her ability to speak out on Bigg Boss OTT not only brings attention to her personal struggles but also sheds light on broader industry issues. Poulomi’s journey, marked by health challenges and professional obstacles, has only strengthened her resolve, leaving a lasting impact on her fellow contestants and viewers.
