Burey Bhi Hum Bhale Bhi Hum, Bandini, Thodi Khushi Thode Gham, Behenein, and the web series Anarchy, actor Anuj Arora is not hesitant about taking risks, especially when it comes to his career. He said, “The bigger the risk, the bigger the reward.”
“Being from a Marwari family, taking risks is in my blood. I think deeply when I have to make a decision and then move forward with it. Even if we fail, at least we tried and did what we thought was best,” he added.
Since childhood, Anuj knew he wanted to make a career in acting. He added, “I was always involved in plays, dance, and music. My motivation came from being deeply invested in these activities, so it was a natural progression to pursue this path. When I was doing theater in Jodhpur, I remember asking my guru how I should go professional. He suggested I join Barry John, sir, who guided me really well, and that’s when it all started.”
But if he ever goes through a phase of indecisiveness, he either talks to his mother or indulges in self-talk.
He said, “We all have occasions when we feel really confused. During those times, I ask myself and travel to my heart to discover what I truly want to do. I have a great set of friends whom I always consult, and I also rely on my mom for guidance. She is someone with whom I can share everything.”
“I have been very fortunate to be introduced to some great meditation techniques that help me gain clarity and connect with myself. I have been following Vipassana, a great meditation technique that keeps me aware of my overthinking and helps manage self-doubt, which is very common in our industry,” Anuj ended.
