While his role of Bheema in Bachchhan Paandey was an intense one, his character of Prince in Rana Naidu managed to stand out as well alongside actors Venkatesh and Rana Daggubati. His role of Prince fetched him multiple awards and no wonder, fans are excited for more. Right now, after his intense role as Prince in Rana Naidu, he will be seen playing the role of an army officer in Gadar 2, the sequel to the iconic Gadar. He plays the role of major Devendra Rawat and his presence in the trailer in a scene along Tara Singh aka Sunny Deol grabbed attention. The first set of photos of his new look is finally out and we are loving his charm. Regarding the role of an army officer in the movie, he was quoted as saying,
“I am really glad and honoured to be a part of Gadar 2. The last few years have been an enriching one for me as an actor. I was clear in my head that after lockdown, I wanted to do different types of roles and I am glad, so far, it has worked out for me. My role in Gadar 2 is way different from what I have done in Bachchan Paandey and Rana Naidu and fans will be taken by surprise. Having said that, playing the role of an army officer comes along with a lot of responsibility. You need to ensure that you don’t end up doing anything that’s disrespectful to their courage and effort. Anil Sharma sir has been a wonderful guide in this aspect and there was so much to learn from everyone on sets.”
Gaurav Chopraa can be seen looking strikingly handsome and masculine in his role as an army officer. He’s seen sporting stunning shades and his looking stout and well-built with his athletic physique. He’s also seen sporting a stylish moustache and well, we are loving it.
