Happy Janmashtami: Television Fame Ankit Siwach Shares His Most Special Memories of this festival

As we celebrate Janmashtami and Dahi Handi, Actor Ankit Swach opens up about his festivities around Janmashtami. Read on:

India is undoubtedly a place of festivities. Every festival is celebrated in our country with the same fervour and excitement in town. When it comes to movies, Television soap opera’s and music industry; our Indian holidays are given prominence. Indeed, there are countless number of programs in which holidays such as Diwali, Holi, Ganesh Chaturthi, and others heighten the impact of the actions.

He says, “My earliest memories of Janmashtami are from my childhood. Every home used to have decorative Jhankis, and during the evenings I used go on a long walk with friends, family, and neighbours around the entire neighbourhood and take Prasad from each and every person who had these lovely Jhankis built with such care and affection. I have witnessed the craziness surrounding Dahi Handi in Mumbai. I have seen some very challenging ones that require great skills and cooperation from a team. The participants are so encouraged by the music and enthusiasm around them.”

Actor Ankit Siwach is well known for his work in Rishton Ka Chakravyuh’s Adhiraj Pandey, Manmohini’s Ram/Rana Bhanu Pratap Singh, Sony TV’s Beyhadh 2’s Vikram Jai Singh, and Star Plus’s Yeh Jhuki Jhuki si Nazar as Armaan Rastogi. He played Vyom inside the 2021 season of Voot Select’s romantic comedy Ishq Mein Marjawan 2: Naya Safar.
