Producer Mou Das recently completed a year in Mumbai and says she loves how Mumbai accepts everyone’s uniqueness and offers them the freedom to let them be themselves.
“I love the freedom of individuality. The non-judgmental attitude of people here and the 24/7 lifestyle. Mumbai is indeed non-stop. Above all, I love its coastal belt, ” she said.
“This year has been one long year of my life, with so many things professionally and emotionally. Mumbai has given me a deep insight and some good lessons for life to remember,” she added.
Talking about the work culture in Mumbai, Mou said that it’s a corporate world and there is “sophistication”, “passion” and an “intense desire to succeed”.
As far as the entertainment industry is concerned, she said, “Though the industry is in Mumbai, it caters to a larger audience, which is not just pan India but worldwide. There is so much to offer that eventually you are never able to consume everything that is offered. The city is sparkling with budding talent and a huge canvas for the passionate ones. If you have the talent and the right direction you can make to stars here in this city.”
Mou launched her production house Kite Runner Pictures last year and says it is her “gateway to the artistic and creative world”. She further added, “Our Vision is to make some really interesting content which will leave a lasting impression on the minds of the audiences.”
“Anyone with a dream to make it big in Bollywood has to make Mumbai it’s Karmabhoomi. Keeping fingers crossed for brighter colours,” Mou concluded
