M.D. Vikaas Gutgutia says “FNP Media will focus on one theme every month, reveals that June is marked for thrillers

Businessman Vikaas Gutgutia’s entry into the entertainment industry with FNP Media, an exclusive platform for short films, seems to be doing well. The chosen projects that are being streamed in the platform have been getting encouraging responses. Thanks to all the feedback the platform has started having a theme every month. June has been touted as the thriller month.
“As the pandemic continues to keep us restricted to our homes, viewership of such platforms is soaring like never before. FNP Media is gaining acceptance among viewers in the country, the hard work and dedication of the entire team is paying off. At FNP Media we see ourselves catapulting into the next phase of growth. Digital will play a critical role in fuelling this growth and we want to ensure that we have a strong offering and presence in the space. We’ve invested a lot of time and energy in creating and acquiring good content and will continue to do so,” he says.

Sharing about why they thought of having a theme every month, he adds, “We wanted to try something new. There’s an audience for every kind of genre, we are trying to reach out to them all. For this month we have ‘Thriller’ as a theme. The thriller genre is the most sought-after by the Indian audience. It has been my personal favourite too… We will be releasing two special thriller flicks this month. The idea is also to make the audience look forward to a new theme every month and give them the films they would love to watch. FNP Media plans to present content-driven movies in various genres, custom-made for our audience.”

Thriller is a broad genre and definitely has its own set of audience, shares Vikaas. This fast-paced format that is filled with twists and turns, mystery, drama etc keeps everyone on the edge of their seats. “Binge-watching thrillers is a good time pass. They act as an exercise for the mind when it runs to guess what would happen next, confusing subplots keep your mind in the want for more. The twists and turns of the thriller keep our adrenaline flowing and activate a part of our brains that is normally not stimulated. This summer has kicked off with plenty of thrillers for our audience. We’re confident that the stories and characters will be appreciated by all those who love the genre,” he adds. The forthcoming thriller Red Shirt will stream on FNP media on 11th June and Saath Tareekh on 25th June. So, what’s stopping you from pressing the play button to watch some exciting content?
