&TV’s Gharelu Comedy Happu Ki Ultan Paltan is one of the most loved comedy shows on Indian television. The show narrates the escapades of Daroga Happu Singh (Yogesh Tripathi), his Dabangg Dulhaniya Rajesh (Kamna Pathak), an obstinate mother, Katori Amma (Himani Shivpuri), and his nine notorious children, based out of Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. During their recent visit to Varanasi to attend Dev Deepawali celebrations, the immensely popular Jodi from the show Happu Singh (Yogesh Tripathi) and Rajesh (Kamna Pathak) sought blessings from Lord Shiva at the world-famous Kashi Vishwanath Mandir.
Talking about his experience visiting Kashi Vishwanath Mandir, Yogesh Tripathi, aka Daroga Happu Singh, said, “Visiting this temple had always been on my Wishlist, and I’m glad it finally came true. We travelled to seek Lord Shiva’s blessings during our Dev Deepawali visit to Varanasi. It was the most memorable experience of my life. When I approached the temple, I noticed its beautifully crafted exterior and golden roof. And as I entered the temple grounds, I felt very spiritual. It was a truly magical and unforgettable experience to see Shiv Ji’s Jyotirlinga. On my way to the temple, I had a long list of wishes for him, but when I saw the linga, I was mesmerized. I wished I had more time to look around and soak in the atmosphere. Following our Darshan, I ate the most delicious peda prasad and packed some dry fruit laddoos for my family. I consider myself fortunate to have had the opportunity to be there, and the entire experience of walking through those narrow lanes and receiving Darshan was very special.” Kamna Pathak, aka Rajesh Singh, shared, “I am a huge Lord Shiva bhakt. So when I landed in Shiv Nagri, Varanasi, visiting the famous Kashi Vishwanath temple was one of the top things on my checklist. The moment I saw it, I was amazed by its beauty. I had heard so many things about this temple, and experiencing it for the first time was truly memorable. On the day of Dev Deepawali, we went on a boat ride exploring various ghats. And the moment we crossed the temple, I got so excited that waiting for the next day became very difficult. It is already marvellous architecture, but the decorations during the festival made me feel as if I were in another world connected to the ghats. I was delighted that we got this opportunity to visit the temple at the most auspicious time. It truly felt like a destined invitation from Lord Shiva, and I felt so connected to him the moment I entered to take his blessings. It was a surreal moment. This visit ignites strength, optimism, calmness, and devotion in me. It is believed that Kashi Vishwanath, Lord Shiva, is endowed with innumerable auspicious attributes, and people who worship him are granted their desires. It was the first time I visited Kashi Vishwanath and the city, and I could never get enough of it. People in the temple instantly recognized us and greeted us with temple prasad. I was so overwhelmed by their love and affection. It is one experience I will cherish and remember for a long time, and I will keep coming back here to explore more.”
