Teachers play a significant role in our upbringing and that’s why they are as revered by students and parents alike. Teacher’s Day, which is dedicated to the memory of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a much-loved teacher, scholar and politician whose work in the field of education has been exemplary. For artistic director and luxury wedding choreographer, Sumit Khetan, Teacher’s Day is very special, as it reminds him of his teachers who’ve imparted invaluable lessons that have helped in life so far. “Teachers Day is definitely a special day in my life,” he says, adding, “It’s always said that learning never ends, as you keep learning each and every day. My teachers often told me that learning can come from anywhere and is not just limited to schools or any institutions. So, one has to be open to receiving it.”

They said that one should always give credit for hard work and this is what I still carry with me. No matter who works with me, I ensure that they are credited for the work they do on my projects.”
