Payal Ghosh is one of the classic examples of an actress who is also a natural beauty in the true and real sense of the term. After having worked successfully for many years in the South, Payal ventured into Bollywood and managed to create her own niche there. Despite hurdles and challenges thrown at her end on a regular basis, Payal continues to rise like a phoenix from the ashes to surprise all her haters. Some time back, she was in the news for a horrendous experience she had to go through when an A-lister director fat-shamed her. However, it seems like no force on Earth has the power to dampen her spirits and positive attitude. That’s why, keeping all the negativity aside, Payal is now all happy and looking forward to celebrating Diwali and Kaali Puja with grace. Regarding her plans for Diwali this year, she says and we quote,
“Well, Diwali is special to one and all and it is no different for me. During Durga Puja, I was in Kolkata and I had a great time here. Diwali will be here in the presence of some close friends. I have done a bit of shopping for my Diwali fashion and I am looking forward to slaying by wearing those outfits. Also, I am not at all intro crackers and anything that causes harm to the environment and stray animals. There’s no point creating sound pollution which also comprises safety. I would urge everyone to go for a cracker-less Diwali and it can still be very nice.”
She further adds,
“For Bengalis, the time of Diwali is also about Kaali Puja where we devote our time and prayers to the almighty and superior Maa Kaali. I will be fasting on the day of Kaali Puja and will be breaking my fast late at night with the special ‘bhog’. It is a ritual I do every year and this year, I will be doing the same.”
On the work front, Payal recently grabbed limelight for her work in the movie “Fire Of Love: Red” where her on-screen chemistry alongside Krushna Abhishek was tremendously appreciated. Moving forward, she is set to have other releases happening as well. Stay tuned for more updates.
