Diwali means double celebration for Prathmesh Sharma as the actor celebrates his second birthday along with the festival

For Prathmesh Sharma, Diwali has a lot of meaning, but the most important one is that he celebrates his birthday along with the festival. The actor, who plays Bala in Sudhir Sharma and Seema Sharma’s Ziddi Dil Maane Na, reveals how this tradition started in his family.
“I was born on October 19, that year Diwali fell on that day. So, my family made a ritual that we will celebrate two birthdays of mine, one on an actual day and other one on during every Diwali. So, the festival has much significance and importance in my life,” he says.
This is the very first time the actor will be in Mumbai during Diwali. “I am super happy that I’ll celebrate the festival with my loved ones, that is the entire team of Ziddi Dil Maane Na. I’ll video call my parents and relatives and as usual I will cut my birthday cake. I will also visit some friends,” he adds.
Sharing his most favourite Diwali memory, Prathamesh says, “There are many beautiful memories of the festival. I also love the weather during this time, when there is a nip in the air. I enjoyed burning crackers as a child and just stayed there to watch the sky to see crackers bursting up, that’s my most favourite childhood memory. Now, of course, I do not burst crackers anymore.”
