Sharon Pandey will be seen playing a cop in ALTT’s new movie, Qaatil Haseena. Though she shared that she had always wanted to play a cop on-screen, preparing for it was a little difficult.
“I portray Sarita, a main cop in the crime branch. I love playing cop characters, and have been wanting to play one for a long time. So this was a new and exciting role for me,” she said.
“Preparing for this role was challenging since I’ve mostly portrayed glamorous characters. However, I immersed myself in the role, trying to embody a cop during the shoot, which I believe I did successfully,” she added.
Playing a cop was also like a dream of hers, as she aspired to become one as a child. “But my parents didn’t support the idea. So, portraying this character resonated with a personal dream of mine,” she added.
Asked about the most challenging part of filming the movie, she said, “The most challenging part was a scene where I had to catch a ball unexpectedly. Despite being unprepared, the director guided me through it, and we managed to pull it off.”
She also added that the team was very supportive, and there weren’t any major difficulties during filming. “We enjoyed the process,” she said.
Sharon was all praise for Ekta Kapoor and ALTT and said, “Ekta ji is making significant strides, and I deeply admire her work. ALTT is rapidly expanding under her leadership. I’ve always enjoyed working with ALTT. I’ve been a part of several series with them, and they appreciate my work.”
