Actor and director Raghav Kansal, who is currently seen in his directorial debut “A Day in Our Lives” on MX Player, shares that he originally wanted to become a cricketer. He explains that an injury prevented him from pursuing cricket, leading him to discover his passion for acting, thanks to his mother’s encouragement. “I wanted to be a cricketer, but an injury halted that path. I later realized my passion for acting, largely due to my mother’s support. She has played a significant role in motivating me to pursue acting and continues to support me, along with my brother, especially during challenging times,” he says.
Discussing his career decisions, he adds, “I take my time to consider different perspectives and seek input from my brother. If it feels right, I move forward with the decision. I accept failure as a natural part of life. While I feel disappointed when things don’t go as planned, I try to learn from my mistakes. I’ve learned to take calculated risks and be prepared for any outcome.”
When asked how he handles overthinking, multitasking, and self-doubt, he responds, “I remind myself of my roots and why I chose this career. My family’s support has been a constant source of strength and motivation, helping me navigate these challenges.”
