Today, the entire nation celebrates its 74th Republic Day as we mark the day when the Constitution of India was adopted in 1950. In addition to flag-hoisting rituals, parades, and cultural activities, Republic Day is honored with great zeal and enthusiasm across the nation. Our beauty, Seerat Kapoor, who hails from an army background, has always felt proud of her nation and today the actress, on the 74th Republic Day, recalls the best days of her childhood when she used to celebrate Republic Day in Army Cantonments with her family.
Recalling the days Seerat reveals, “I come from an army background and hold my nationality at heart with the utmost respect and pride. The stories I would hear growing up, through my grandfathers who both served the army and the sacrifices that followed would tear me up as a child. I fondly remember attending the Republic Day Celebrations at the army cantonments with my parents for flag hoisting. We would then be seated to admire the fighter aircraft’s light the skies up in our tiranga. We have so many memories together celebrating this day in gratitude and happiness. Here’s to unity, camaraderie, and patriotism. “Happy Republic Day to everyone.”
“Saluting India! where each bud blooms in its true colors, where each day is a celebration of togetherness and harmony. Wishing everyone a very Happy Republic Day”
On the work front, Seerat Kapoor recently made her Bollywood debut with Tusshar Kapoor in ‘Maarich’, along with that, the actress will soon be seen in Dil Raju’s upcoming next untitled film.
