Zee TV is all set to bring its viewers a new fiction offering – Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan produced by Prateek Sharma (Studio LSD) , a mature romance based in modern-day Vrindavan. The show will take everyone on the intriguing journey of Mohan who was once a charmer – someone who would play the flute and have everyone swooning around him but has somehow lost that spark and spunk along the way. He has turned into an intense, brooding man with sorrow in his eyes. In fact, Mohan carries an invisible wall around him and doesn’t let anyone in. The only person he is attached to is his mother, whom he loves blindly. Essaying the role of this intense character will be none other than popular TV superstar Shabir Ahluwalia. Last seen in Zee TV’s longest-running, top-rated show – Kumkum Bhagya, Ahluwalia is excited about this new project.

Shabir said, “After being part of Kumkum Bhagya for so long, I wanted to play a part that was quite different from what I’ve been essaying. I wanted my next show to have a riveting storyline. That’s when Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan came my way. It is truly a fascinating story, very unique and full of twists. I personally love the way Mohan’s character has been written. Mohan is a strong, well-defined yet challenging character with several different shades. He was quite the charmer in his 20s, but in his mid-30s, his life has taken a complete 360-degree turn. He has lost his identity and purpose in life. But what will be interesting for the audience to watch is what made him the person that he is at the moment and what will happen in his life next. To be honest, I am quite excited about working with Zee TV once again, it’s like a homecoming for me.”
