We all had our favorite superheroes growing up, didn’t we? Their extraordinary powers, bravery, and agility left us in awe. But what about real-life superheroes? Who are they? In reality, a superhero doesn’t possess supernatural powers; they are ordinary people. What makes them special is their love, determination, and dedication, which transforms them into true superheroes. Such a superhero is coming soon to the silver screen in ‘Shaktiman’! Directed by Prakash Kunte, the highly anticipated film’s trailer has sparked an emotional wave in the Marathi film industry. The trailer, featuring Adinath Kothare, Spruha Joshi, Priyadarshan Jadhav, Ishan Kunte, and Vikram Gaikwad, tells the extraordinary story of an ordinary man.

Initially, the name Shaktiman might have conjured images of a fictional superhero, but the official trailer has dispelled those notions. It opens in a hospital room, with a little girl lying on a bed, innocently asking Adinath, “Uncle, do you know where I will be going in a few days?” With loving curiosity, Adinath asks, “Where will you be going?” She replies, “To Bappa!” This poignant moment, where the girl calmly speaks of her fate, strikes a chord with both Adinath and the audience. This sets the stage for a series of outstanding sequences that unravel the story, taking the audience on an emotional rollercoaster. The trailer peaks with Spruha Joshi’s powerful line, “You want to be a superhero, right? You can be, but let me tell you, a superhero doesn’t have a wife.” Such impactful dialogues and sequences ensure that Shaktiman promises a compelling experience when it hits theaters on May 24th.

But what does Spruha’s statement really mean? Can this Shaktiman save the little girl? Can a father become a superhero for his child and others? These burning questions will only be answered on the big screen.

This film brings together Adinath Kothare and Spruha Joshi for the first time, along with notable performances by Priyadarshan Jadhav, Ishan Kunte, and Vikram Gaikwad. Their glimpses in the trailer have only intensified audience curiosity.

Director Prakash Kunte, known for his diverse films like ‘Coffee Ani Barach Kahi,’ ‘And Jara Hatke,’ ‘Hampi,’ and ‘Cycle,’ has consistently pushed audiences to think differently. ‘Shaktiman’ is poised to deliver yet another unique and impactful message. If you haven’t watched the Shaktiman trailer yet, do so immediately and share your thoughts on social media.

Shaktiman is set to release on May 24th. Don’t miss it!
