After an electrifying hiatus of eight years, the charismatic and beloved Telugu cinema star, Rocking Star Manoj Manchu is making a monumental return to the silver screen, redefining the Super Hero’s universe with his latest avatar as ‘The Black Sword’ in the highly anticipated film, Mirai. The film starring Teja Sajja as The Super Yodha with visionary Karthik Ghattamaneni helming it and TG Vishwa Prasad of People Media Factory bankrolling marks Manoj’s debut in a universe brimming with action, adventure, and unparalleled excitement.
In a grand reveal amidst his birthday, the makers have unveiled the first look glimpse of Manchu Manoj as The Black Sword. The glimpse showcases Manchu Manoj in a never-before-seen intense and powerful avatar, equipped with a strange weapon, standing against a dramatic backdrop of a massacred landscape. His commanding presence with a mix of swag and intensity highlights his character’s strength and significance in the narrative, making him the Black Sword. Sporting long hair with a ponytail and a stylish beard, Manoj looked deadly and at the same time ultra-fashionable in a long coat in the intro scene, followed by another action-packed sequence in a blazer with a t-shirt.
The character adds a new dimension to the film, showcasing his versatility and dedication as an actor. His character’s journey is expected to resonate deeply with audiences, adding to the film’s overall impact.

Karthik Ghattamaneni penned the screenplay, alongside Manibabu Karanam who also wrote dialogues. Gowra Hari is the music director. Sri Nagendra Tangala is the art director of the movie, whereas Vivek Kuchibhotla is the co-producer. Krithi Prasad is the Creative Producer, whereas Sujith Kumar Kolli is the Executive Producer.
Mirai will be released in multiple languages- Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages on April 18th in the summer in 2D and 3D versions.
