Each decade comes with its own set of new age actors who suddenly change the entire look of the Bollywood Industry and this one sure has dropped some pretty good ones in our basket. Year 2022 saw some heart warming performance by the young new age actors who are definitely the stars of tomorrow. Here’s the list.
Ishaan Khatter
Dhadak Boy Ishan Khatter along with MC Sher Siddhant Chaturvedi gave an electric performance in Katrina Kaif starrer Phone Bhoot. He also stunned everyone with a spectacular performance in Khali Peeli in 2020. He is surely one of the breakout stars of today!
Rohit Saraf
Rohit Saraf who played the perfect brother in The Sky is Pink, also had a great role in the series Mismatched. He aced his acting career with 2022 film Vikram Vedha in which he perfectly portrayed the role of Vedha’s brother. Look out for him!
Vihaan Samant
In 2020, Vihaan came into the spotlight with his cuteness in the web series Mismatched in which he played the role of Harsh Agarwal with a special sensitivity. He also nailed the awkwardness and anxiety of the 20s in the Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti produced “Eternally Confused and Eager for Love.” Surely one to watch!
Shantanu Maheshwari
Shantanu recently made all the heads turn up by sharing the screen space with Bollywood star Alia Bhatt in her Blockbuster film Gangubai Kathiawadi’. The undeniable chemistry between the duo in the film left audiences wondering ‘Who is Shantanu Maheshwari” The young star is an actor and dancer and is famously known for his role as Swayam in the hit teen drama Dil Dosti Dance (D3). Surely lots more to come!
Babil Khan
Babil Khan who made his debut this year, won hearts with his performance in Qala. Much like his character Jagan in Qala, Babil Khan exudes an air of innocence and pure honesty. We look forward to seeing more of him!
Adarsh Gourav
Adarsh played the central role in Netflix film The White Tiger and had been nominated in the lead actor category for The White Tiger at the BAFTA Awards 2021 for his powerhouse performance. He will be seen again in Guns and Gulabs. A special talent indeed!
